A savory and delicious mince and pepper dish that can be eaten or served with rice, bread, bread rolls or plain pasta. Mince dishes are relatively easy to prepare and require little effort.

Ingredients1 kg of mutton or beef mince2 medium sized onions1 large tomato3 medium sized potatoes1 tablespoon of cooking oil2-3 green peppersSalt to taste1 teaspoon of crushed ginger and garlic2 teaspoons of cumin powder1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder1 teaspoon of crushed pepper

Steps

1Slice tomato and leave aside

2Slice potatoes into desired pieces and leave aside in water.

3Slice green pepper into long or short strips and leave aside.

4Slice onions finely and leaves aside for later use.

5Add mince into a pot with 1 cup of water.

6Allow to steam on low heat for 10-15 minutes.

7While mince is steaming, add sliced onions, salt and tomato.

8Mix well.

9As the water starts to dry up and the fat from the mince starts to sizzle, add potatoes.

10Add cooking oil, crushed ginger and garlic and mix well.

11Now add in all your spices and green pepper into the pot.

12Mix well.

13Allow to cook on low heat until the spices blends in with the mince.

14Once the pepper and potatoes are cooked, remove from stove.

15Garnish with a few sprigs of fresh coriander. (Optional)

16This dish serves 4-6 people.
